Matching
Lime mortars can mostly be matched with standard mixes but sometimes it is necessary to get expert’s help and luckily, we’re here when that happens.
When undertaking repair and renovation works, we know how important it is finding the right mortar. That’s why, if you provide us with a sample (ideally 2" and above) and detail your measurements, we’ll match your mortar, price it up and get mixing!
The best advice we can give if you’re starting a build is to always hold back some of the mortar and sand you’ve used (wrapped tightly to seal out any water vapour) as it essentially ensures that you won’t need us to match it for you again if the worst happens and you need more!
*Please note we cannot guarantee availability of materials as natural materials may deplete from time to time and are always subject to availability. As with all natural products, there may be slight variations in consistency but we will always do everything we can to ensure an accurate recreation.
Our Weighbridge
Weighbridges are at the heart of many construction projects. We have a weighbridge specifically for our customers, with accuracy from 10kg to 30 tonnes. This service is not just available for customers buying our products – for a £10 charge you can have your vehicle weighed at any time.

The loading plate
Slowly position your vehicle centrally on the loading plate and the operator will give you a thumbs up and instruction on where to go when weighing is complete.

Fill her up
Following the operator’s instructions, drive over to have your vehicle loaded and wait until completion before driving back to the weighbridge.

Tickets please!
Once back on the weighbridge, exit your vehicle and step up to the window. Tell the operator what you’re purchasing and they will print you out a ticket and give any further instructions – finally taking payment (if required).

Retreat!
Once finished, simply return to your vehicle and you’re ready to start building…
